Confirmed from Paddle Point Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a shop offering kayak and paddleboard rentals, plus a launch ramp.
What runners say about Paddle Point Park
“We have kayaked at Paddle Point Park several times and enjoy the calm water since motorized watercraft are not permitted within the cove.”
Loved this place!! I used to fish here in 81, years ago. Then, it was a dirt parking lot with nothing around, I recall 5 trucks got stuck in the mud once. I was surprised to see how much the area changed. It's an excellent place for kayaking with plenty of "paved" parking spaces.
I love to paddleboard and kayak here when the weather permits. It's the perfect water trail. Things to keep in mind... Sometimes jet-skiers encroach on this area and create waves, and it's supposed to be paddlesports only.
Great cove protected from the wind on 3 sides so its a great place for SUP (stand up paddleboard). Rent a paddleboard or kayak at the outpost adjacent to the park...or bring your own. You can launch at the walk in area or off the dock. Sometimes I launch right off the grass.
Trail conditions & character
“The only other thing I could critique is the limited amount of parking and it's difficult to park a truck in their parking lot.”
“Also, outside of business hours for the paddleboard and kayak rental there are no restrooms available.”
