I just recently discovered this park while trying to start my walking/ getting healthy journey. I love it the trail is nice and had work out machines down the trail for you to use. Also it's right next to the recreation center and a huge park for the kid's.
I think DORBA did an amazing job with Pecan Grove Trail. I was able to get a good hike in (11+ miles) with some elevation and would recommend others to check it out.
Nice great park. It is the same as the kid kingdom park. It has a picnic area and restroom. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Also a nice walking trail right next to it. It also has a water park, but not open during our visit. The water park is separate and needs tickets to go in.
My granddaughters loved this park. I wish there was more shade. Restrooms available in the park section would be nice. Be sure to take plenty of water. More benches for adults to sit near play areas would be helpful. I like the handicap accessibility of much of the park.
