Confirmed from Pangborn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 10 mentions

“Beautiful park, especially if you count the adjoining park next to it, and the paved hiking trail that joins the two!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“There are benches throughout the park and it's peaceful.”

This is a really nice park in Hagerstown! there are plenty of walking trails nearby and a well maintained pond with a ton a Ducks. This park has the same vibe as city park, but on a much smaller scale. It is easily walkable from Fairgrounds Park and safe area. Small playground onsite as well

★★★★★ — Tyler , Oct 2025

Such a pretty community park. Has a nice playground, swings, a fishing pond (empty and doing some construction on it when I went), an actual bathroom, covered pavilions with grills, and some courts and fields.

★★★★★ — Faith , May 2021

Beautiful park, a few playgrounds and places for sports. Limited on pavilions and grills so check it out before planning a picnic. Hiking trail goes to fairgrounds park. Dredging of the pond will begin soon and improving some of the best up walk ways.

★★★★☆ — Ashley , Jan 2020

This park has a decent size playground, two tennis courts, and several picnic spots with grills. There is also a small pond which is nice but frozen this time of year.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
