Confirmed from Parkside Place Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Friendly park featuring an expansive, castle-themed playground, plus basketball and tennis courts.

What runners say about Parkside Place Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (900 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“Convenient clean bathrooms open from 6am-9pm, snackbar, lots of picnic tables for eating lunch and only one entrance in and out to prevent escaping toddlers.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful, clean park with Tennis courts, trails, basketball courts, swimming pool and huge playground.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Only with trees all around the playground, so it shaded not only in the castle; but around the area around it as well.”

I was in the area and wanted to take a walk after dinner. I'm happy we found this place. The playground is great and it's a nice place to take a walk.

Castle in play ground for kids to explore and run around. Comes with bridges and watch towers, big tube slide and many other structures to explore. Best part is the picnic tables outside for lunches. Small kids need adult supervision, but older children are free to run.

SOOO MUCH FUN!! HUGE PLAYGROUND! Beautiful, clean park with Tennis courts, trails, basketball courts, swimming pool and huge playground. Clean bathrooms near tables and playground. Lots of parking and near it's next to a police station so safety is no question. My children played all day and still didn't want to leave.

This park is fantastic. Leathers Park-Sci Playground is fenced in and is a made up of two separate play areas, one for kids 5 and under and one for kids 5 to 12 years old. The playground for older children is in the form of a Castle. There are swings of all kinds available.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 5 mentions
