One of my favorite trails to go and get grounded. There are three trails all which include benches or other areas to sit down. If you want to do a small hike I would recommend the bluebird trail or old Kate trail which has a waterfall. If you are feeling adventurous the white tail trail is perfect even for beginners.
Parkville Nature Sanctuary is one of those places that makes you slow down and really appreciate the beauty around you. From the start, it felt calm and untouched — no crowds, just the sound of the creek and the breeze through the trees.
Nice little Nature Sanctuary to get out and Enjoy the outdoors. Has multiple trail options but all were fairly easy and saw families on all trails while here. Will be back to see if I can see more wildlife activity when in the area as I came in the middle of the day. Not Dog or Pet friendly.
The area was fantastic, and we enjoyed a lovely walk. Upon arrival, we pulled into the parking lot and noticed a jailhouse from the 1900s. As we continued our walk, we discovered an old storage room. The gentle flow of the waterfall was peaceful and captivating.
