Confirmed from Pascack Brook County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I grew up here. Me and all my friends throughout HS hung out here for everything. It has changed beautifully over the years, I take my kids here and they love the trails and parks and the new connection to westvale.

Beautiful peaceful and spacious park. Lots of areas to stroll, bike, or walk your dog. No crowds whenever I went there - hardly anyone there, which makes it so much more peaceful. Great kids play areas and pond. Lots of deer in this park - love it!

I’ve been in Bergen county for the last 25 years. I’m so mad I found out about This park so late. Def had to be the cleanest/well maintained park in the entire state of NJ. My dog and I enjoy the walks. The maintenance staff is super friendly and informative.

★★★★★ — Eddie , Apr 2026

A nice well appointed local park with walking paths both paved and unpaved, large sports fields and such impeccably maintained. Has a large double dog run (large/small dogs) the wood chips can get muddy, but then a dirty dog is a happy dog.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
