Confirmed from Patch Reef Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Abundant sports & recreation facilities, including a tennis center, plus an electronic playground.
What runners say about Patch Reef Park
“There's a ton of parking and I've always found the bathrooms to be clean and orderly - having the entire bathroom to ourselves really made a difference.”
“There’s plenty of shade everywhere, plenty of seating, completely fenced in, great splash pad WITH shade, bathrooms are individual stalls, etc etc.”
“This is an engaging playground that caters to children of all ages.”
This is another great park in Boca. It has something for everyone. It’s made up of a few different areas including a children's playground, a few ball fields for different sports, Tennis/pickleball courts with tennis center, walking/running path with exercise equipment along the path and a few picnic areas with tables…
I recently spent some time at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, and it was a really pleasant place to relax for a bit. The park is spacious and well maintained, with plenty of open areas and walking paths. I enjoyed taking a casual walk around and seeing people playing sports and families spending time together.
This is a great remodel! We took our twins there just the other day and they had a blast! Only suggestion would be to put some slip pads on the metal playground area because I saw multiples kids get wet and then run on it and slip.
I used to go rollerblading with my Dad here many years ago. Revisited the park pushing him in a transport chair. Went in mid-June, and while hot, there was enough shady spots along the well maintained paths to make it a pleasant visit. This is a big park and there is a lot to see and explore. Will visit again!
