Confirmed from Paul Henry Thornapple Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It's beautiful and peaceful”
This is a great walking, running, and biking trail. This section of the North Country Trail is paved and well maintained so it makes it great for people of all ages. We parked in Middleville by the river. If you start the trail here, there is a small gazebo and picnic area.
1-16-25, 6 inches of fresh powder and a few miles of cross country skiing. The sun poked out for a while, fresh tracks on the trail with a cold beverage afterwards.
Great trail near Yankee Springs State Park. The blacktop part was 4 miles. Didn't follow thru going the other way. But a very nice trail
I absolutely love this trail. I walk 5 miles every day there as it's just a couple blocks from home. I highly recommend it to anyone
