Confirmed from Yankee Springs Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful stop if you're passing through or perfect for a day dedicated to hiking. The photos attached are from a trail around the perimeter of Hall Lake. Parking is off the road on a lot for boat access. There are plenty of other spots to hike nearby as well.
We camped at the Deep Lake Unit for 3 nights, it's a rustic campground. Absolutely gorgeous lake view from site D70. Plenty of trails to walk or mountain bike only trails, and a boat launch with a fishing pier.
Wonderful campground! Love the trails near by and the waterfront views. My parents stayed here in May which is great because there are not a lot of people at this time and hardly any bugs :) Some of the campsites are very close quarters to your neighbor but it is a nice feel of community.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
