Confirmed from Peak Of Mount Simon's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park known for hiking and scenic views of a river and cliffs, plus wildlife sightings.
What runners say about Peak Of Mount Simon
“Beautiful park with nice trails and a great view from the peak.”
Was awesome. Walk on the fairly flat parts, or challenge yourself to the hill climbing. The dogs loved it!
I'd give it a five but the hike up isn't going to be for everyone. So so beautiful tho! I've added a small video that shows some terrain. The still shots were during sunrise.
A total random stop before I headed home from the Blue Ox Music Festival. I'm soooo glad I did. This place is ridiculously beautiful. Not to mention if you take the lowest path next to the ugly scrap metal fence, you'll run into the beautiful river bluff, which has the MOST rope swings I have ever seen.
You might run into some teenagers once in a while but it's an amazing view, worth the hike!
