Confirmed from Carson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Very peaceful place to go if you just want to leisurely paddle around for a couple hours.”

Went down to Carson on a warm October Sunday while the leaves were at their most vibrant stage. I went to lay in a hammock to catch up on some things for work and it was very relaxing .

Carson Park is one of my favorite parks to visit, especially in the fall. They're such beautiful scenery and wonderfully maintained walking trails and park grounds. Take a little visit today. It's worth it. Take a break out of your day and smell the fresh air and enjoy nature at its finest.

The playground was awesome. Really big and so much different things to do. The zipline and rope/rubber walking was neat. Even the adults were doing the zipline. They even had musical instruments too. We drove around the island and it had all sorts of places to adventure.

Went on Memorial Day weekend and it was busier than usual according to Google, but there were still parking spaces available. The bathroom was fine. Running water (not pit toilets). A short walk by the water under the cool pines was just what I needed in the middle of a busy day.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
