This is a hidden gem!!! Nice and quiet place to getaway from city for quality family time. You can pole/cast net fishing here. No BBQ place here. 3 hours Parking free. Clean bathroom. Travel time from Manhattan around 1h 30 mins, 8 miles Very clean park, peoples are very friendly and safe place to enjoy your time.
Lovely park to walk along the river. We came for the Carboard boat race and we had a blast!! You can watch the boats and canoes on the water as you walk. Many places to eat too. We ate at the Turkish restaurant and it was great! Great place to visit with families on the weekend for peaceful walk.
Lovely boardwalk and small park. The town provides a well maintained dock, with water, 30 amp electric hookup, and a pumpout station for visiting boaters, right downtown and close to attractions and restaurants. Such a shame more do not use!
The pier is beautiful. Kayaking through the area is calming. The special events are always well run. To simply walk the dock and enjoy the wildlife is serene. Fishing is permitted. And the new brewery, #PCB, is fun!
