Confirmed from Percy Warner's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Percy Warner
“Beautiful park and places to play and hike with family and friends.”
“Trails are well marked and enjoyable.”
About 7 miles of trails, popular with hikers and trail runners. Many pavilions to rent for gatherings. Plenty of fields and places to chill, and a few overlooks. One in particular is Luke Lea Overlook and offers a view of most of the city of Nashville.
Favorite park in Nashville by far. Fairly large with lots of variation in trails. On road trails, off road trails with lots of elevation change, flat XC style trails, mountain biking trails, it's got it all.
One of the best (and largest) city parks in America. Paved roads for walking, running and biking. Rugged trails for running and hiking. Extensive mountain bike area. Even horse-riding trails.
Would be 5 🌟 spot if they added water and bathrooms. Trails are well marked and enjoyable.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
