Confirmed from Peruque Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Well-kept park with 4 baseball fields plus concessions and a walking path.

What runners say about Peruque Valley Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (159 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“The place was really clean, plenty of parking, great concession stand, only negative is the place was kinda hard to find.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“The trees are still young this year so we lacked shade so I suggest bringing an umbrella or other shade of your own if attending a tournament.”

Very nice ballpark and trails. They do have handicap parking. But it's a pretty long walk to the fields. Luckily it os flat.

This is a newer park. The fields are nice and kept in good condition. Note: For coaches and teams, the fences on the field we played on are 300 feet all around. Keep that in mind when you are playing, especially in older divisions. The concession stand also has a nice selection of food and beverages.

★★★★☆ — Eric , Sep 2023

Nice ballpark but there is a bit of a walk to get to the fields from the parking lot as well as the concession stand. It's probably 200 yards at least from fields 1 and 2 to the concession stand and bathrooms. Fans will miss at least a half inning if they have to use the facilities.

★★★★☆ — Don , Sep 2022

Limited amenities at this park if you're not attending a game here. Baseball fields are gated off and not accessible for general use. A partially paved walking path, lake, creek and picnic area are about the extent of offerings. Would be nice if there was a playground.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 13 mentions

“If you are there for ball amd players have to use the bathroom they will miss the game because it's so far away!”
