We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Progress Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Progress Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (261 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“It is clean, well run (the folks that work there are so nice and very helpful - a big shout out to Lisa) and most enjoyable!”

I play pickleball here on Tues and Thursdays. It is the only public indoor court that I know of. We play on one side of the gymnasium during the summer because the other is being used by the children's summer camp program. You need to purchase a membership in the Wentzville Parks & Recreation dept.

The place needed a little TLC (probably because it was the off season), but my lil Dude loved it. Plenty of room to run and lots of playground equipment for him to play on.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 4 mentions

“The restrooms are right in front and there's a pavilion with lots of tables that you can use if it's not rented.”
