Confirmed from Pine Log Creek Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with trails for different levels that explore a quarry, creeks, and a pond.
What runners say about Pine Log Creek Trailhead
“Some nice views along the river and the quarry is beautiful.”
“Trails are pretty clearly marked but there are sections that need blazed again.”
“The trail is narrow and rooty, but serene with lush vegetation like fern and various fungi.”
EXCELLENT hike. There are 2 loops, east and west. The west loop picks up about 300ft of elevation pretty quickly toward the backend. Trail got a little misleading back there. The rock quarry is a total prize for the hike. I could sit out there for hours. Brought the 13 year old and 10 year old out with me.
Pretty trail near the creek, free parking, no restrooms, dog friendly, if you keep right on the trail it’s more near the water and less difficult in the beginning, trail signs posted throughout November 25, 2024 following a busy day at work, Ashley and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon stroll along Pine Log Creek Trail…
Very nice trail. A lot of flowers blooming right now. Not sure if it’s all year round or only during spring. The trail is moderate / hard. There’s a pond with clear water you can even see the fish. If you look closely, you might come across turtles. It was about 5 miles total.
Trails are pretty clearly marked but there are sections that need blazed again. A pretty hike with a few creeks to cross. The quarry at the end is quite relaxing, the fish seem to be well fed as they swim up to you when you get to the waters edge.
