Confirmed from Wilderness Camp Trail System's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Amazing trail system. Doesn’t show up on mtbproject.. Great map and signage. A little hard to figure out directions based on the day but once you get going you can get some miles in. Awesome rock gardens. there’s a flowing creek off of toona trace. Great experience. thank you bartow parks and rec.

Finally a decent singletrack that's not 45 minutes away. Features rock drops, rock gardens, and flow sections. Free bike repair station, water fountain and bathroom. 2 miles from lake allatoona.

★★★★★ — Clay , May 2025

Very well thought out trail system. One bathroom, lots of picnic tables. Currently 4 miles of trails- relatively easy to loop them all in a row. Limited line of sight which limits speed but very flowy trail with decent elevation (4 miles, 600+ elevation gain) with lots of added rock features.

The Wilderness Camp Trails are beautifully maintained by MTB Atlanta. As the owner of Bear Paw Coaching and a certified mountain bike instructor, I can attest to the fun and well-marked trails that provide a great riding experience for all skill levels. There's a lot of fun to be had here and more to come!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Water station for filling up water bottles or dog bowls- decent sized paved parking lot.”
