A very beautiful walk inside and outside the dunes. Temp dropped by degrees when entering the western sand dune and Palmetto trails off A1A. Nice viewing tower in the dunes west of A1A with 360 viewing. Love the view. Beautiful spot.
What a gem! Walk on beautiful wooded trails to the ocean & then to a boardwalk over the intracoastal! Take your time, look for wildlife. Peaceful & well maintained. Free parking & admission!
I believe as a preserve it was free. Knowledgeable volunteer staff — love their work and enjoy sharing it with visitors! Kids had a touch thank for sting rays, watched sea horses be fed (not to mention a little told play to describe their creature habits), turtles recuperating after removal of sea debris and an…
It's a beautiful place for a hike and get away from the busy roads for a moment. Well monitored by county resources. Don't stop moving, bugs will eat you alive if you sit still.
