Confirmed from Porterdale Yellow River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It's a nice place to walk and to fish. But the only thing that they ask is that the fish you catch don't eat them.

Flat water run from Abe's Landing to Porterdale. Took about 3 hours. There's a giant pipe going across the river about 1/2 way to Porterdale. You have to get out and drag your kayak/canoe around the pipe and put back in.

★★★★☆ — That , Apr 2023

The park was busy today. There were three different parties playing disc golf. There were people walking around the concrete sidewalk. People were fishing in the stream. And there were people walking their dogs. Overall pretty nice day.

Had a great time here! I really enjoyed the nature trails and how it walked you into downtown porterdale. Porterdale is a very polite quiet town. I love it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
