Confirmed from Potomac Crossing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded, 8-acre park with a playground, picnic shelter & tables, plus open space & connecting trails.
What runners say about Potomac Crossing Park
“I do plan to return with a better planned hike because what I did see was beautiful and I didn’t make it to a waterfall that is apparently out there.”
There’s some really great hiking trails, that I got lost on. Never did see a map of the trails. Luckily I was able to get my all trails map going and find my way out. I do plan to return with a better planned hike because what I did see was beautiful and I didn’t make it to a waterfall that is apparently out there.
Nice, new neighborhood park. Main feature is a cute playground for younger children. Surrounding woods shade the area in mornings and evenings so it is less hot. Small picnic pavilion with 6-8 tables (can’t recall exactly) can be reserved. Only 1 grill.
Amazing place to hike. It is an unexpected secret like trail. This place just seems like it only has a kids playground, but if you follow the trail into the woods, it has a beautiful trail along the river (go to river trail, and u can choose lower or elevated trail along it) and A LOT of beautiful bluebells!
Small little park, fun for a small group with kids... some trails nearby and lots of green. Good ground keeping and landscaping. There is a great opportunity to have a decent restroom installed there. They had a portable in a very large size, but the smells were forcing me to hold my necessities for later.
