Confirmed from Powers Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park featuring a paved lakeside trail, a fishing pier & canoe launch, plus a playground.
What runners say about Powers Lake Park
“We also enjoyed walking the picturesque paved path around the lake.”
Took a fall walk around the lake with a friend. Had no clue it existed, but she took me there. Was about 1.7 miles around and a perfect walk. Only had to leave the lake for about 4 lucky houses. Otherwise a great combo of nature on one side and backyards on the other. Wonderful spot for a quick walk!
Pretty good walking path around the lake. Some of your lake views are obstructed by trees. Part of the loop forces you to navigate through a neighborhood. But there's plenty of shade. I believe it was around two miles to walk around the lake.
This is a great park that has a little bit of everything. They have a fun playground with space for 3 and under and another space for 3 and up. There is a shelter building if you were going to have a larger event. They also have some big open grass areas for sports or flying kites.
This is a great park with a beautiful lake. I like to start bike riding from here, and follow trails down to and around Colby Lake. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the paved trail around the lake has some bad spots, and because there is very limited parking.
