Confirmed from Princess Place Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a lovely county park with so much to do! There's picnicking and grilling, camping, big empty fields where you can do Frisbee or tag football or whatever you want to bring. There's a historic residence and the state's first swimming pool. Canoe and kayak launches and places to fish. LOTS of hiking trails.

Princess Place Preserve located on Pellicer Creek is a lovely Volusia County Park with an old lodge built by Henry Cutting in 1886. We were lucky enough to be there when they had a tour of the lodge which was opened up by a park employee for the public to walk inside and read the informative plaques in each room and…

If you’ve never been to the Princess place preserve you’re missing out. This is located in Palm Coast, right outside of Daytona Beach and it is absolutely stunning. You can explore the grounds hike on the trails and just sit in the rocking chairs and listen to the water flowing and nature all around you.

Very secluded, beautiful place to see wildlife on the water. 1,500 acres of land preserve that is adjacent to approximately 5,000 acres of state land preserve. There is camping, horse back riding, hiking, fishing kayaking and a couple of cabins you rent. It is about 3 miles of dirt road to get to the Princess Place.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 22 mentions

“The wraparound veranda w/rocking chairs makes a perfect setting to view the marine animal activity straight ahead on the water & drift into a faraway feel of tranquility.”
