Confirmed from Towne Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Quiet pond, paved and dirt trails, playground and a nature play area, picnic area.”

This lovely little park is a great place to enjoy nature without a lot of people. It offers a 1.1 mile paved loop circling a field that has wildflowers during the spring and summer as well as a small lake. It's nice for dog walking or biking with small children.

★★★★★ — Marie , Sep 2022

Great place to take a walk, bring the kids or explore with your dog. Cool historical landmarks, fun activities tucked in the trees, playground equipment, ponds and trails. Total hidden gem in our own backyard.

I'm in love with this quaint little park! Towne Park is not only a fun spot to bring the fam for the day but it also has history in it's roots. For young and younger children the park offers a playground and a unique explorers classroom where you can make music with the things found I'm nature.

★★★★★ — Emily , May 2022

Great park. A nice paved 1.1 mile loop around prairie grass. Another paved path around the pond plus some short natural path trails, a nature playground and regular playground. There's also an old homestead. Great place to take pictures as well

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
