I grew up hiking Putney ⛰️ as a kid during Summer camp in nearby Newfane; usually during the 4th of July weekend to see 🎆🎇 from the summit. The view is BEAUTIFUL (you can see VT, NY, NH, MA & even down into CT & RI on clear days. Good views of Haystack, Mt. Snow & Stratton as well. 👍
Great little hike with beautiful views. A great short hike! The trail is pretty easygoing, but the couple of steeper/rocky spots would be difficult for someone with bad knees.
Beautiful, has defined trails. Some people had their dogs. Signs for safe distancing. Peaceful and kept clean. Most hikers follow good habits here!
Gorgeous trails well maintained. They even have leashes to borrow for your 4 legged friend!
