Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wow once this park is finished it will be great. Multiple biking and hiking trails. The trails are well marked and groomed. It’s still under a lot of construction but they are doing their best to make it great while that is continuing. Definitely worth a stop!

Quarry Trails Metro is a nice little park, with a mile loop, large ponds/small lakes, and a very nice waterfall (for Columbus). They are still developing it, so only part of the park is open for visitors. Pros: Nice park in the middle of the city, over 1 mile walking paths, playground, plenty of nature.

★★★★☆ — Wildcards , May 2022

Hey, have you heard of Quarry Trails Metro Park in Columbus, Ohio? It’s an amazing place that mixes nature and history in the best way possible. Imagine rugged cliffs, deep quarry lakes, and breathtaking views. There are well-marked trails for hiking and mountain biking, a beautiful waterfall, and even a dog park!

★★★★★ — King , Jul 2025

Nice park in the making. If you want to go for a short hike, go to the south parking lot. If you are going mountain biking, go to the north parking lot. If you want a good, long hike, just do it all like we did. Also, if you are looking for the natural falls, they are above the man-made falls.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
