Confirmed from Quarry Trails Metro Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Quarry Trails Metro Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (213 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 16 mentions

“I took one of the many trails that they had here and it was far more beautiful than I expected although majority of the trail did not have overhead coverage or tree canopies.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“With peaceful spots to relax on the swing benches and so much to explore, it’s the perfect place for an active, outdoorsy family day.”

Definitely going to be my favorite metro park now in the columbus area. They have so much to offer. Hiking, a water and boardwalk area. Bridges and paved multi use trails. They also have a mountain biking area that looks awesome.

We went on opening day of Phase 1. This will be a great addition to the local communities by offering more recreation options. The "Lake Area" currently only has a deck observation to see the waterfall for those in a wheelchair because to get to the lower area from the south parking lot requires steps currently.

We absolutely love Quarry Trails! It’s such a serene place. There are trails, wildlife, ponds and a beautiful waterfall with a shallow body of water for you to walk through, if you desire.

★★★★★ — Megan , Jul 2023

The mountain bike trails are pretty awesome! All the trails are primarily downhill trials with various difficulties. If you’re a new rider, definitely be cautious. If you’ve ever been to Horns Hill - just think of it as a smaller version. Still, really great for Columbus!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
