Confirmed from Rachel Carson Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Rachel Carson Riverfront Park
“There is a beautiful view of the river though there may be a slight odor.”
There is a track for jogging. It is small so you have to do many laps but it is still nice. There is a beautiful view of the river though there may be a slight odor. Not sure if it is from the river or the adjacent power plant. Lol.
A beautiful place to enjoy a walk by the river. Why did they remove the gazebo?
I enjoy taking walks here on the little track. There is a shelter with picnic tables and you can walk down to the river. I've seen lots of people walking their dogs on leash. It's not great for kids as there's no restroom & no playground.
I went there for a "walk in the park" about noon. It was attractive though not large. Several people were walking around a paved loop path. There were a few benches and tables, and I think some were under a shelter for picnics.
