Confirmed from Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (827 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The trails are well maintained and people seem to take care of the whole area.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“The Martinez Regional Shoreline is an absolutely beautiful area with so many places to sit and enjoy the scenery.”

Great place to explore with the family or solo. They have many options for activities. There is a grassy area. Play structures. Skate Park. Covered seating areas. Picnic areas. You can do a short hike to the beach area. There is a call trans station a short walk away. I totally recommend it.

Great park lots to see, great for photos, walking a dog, or just taking in the nature I love the water and watching ships go by. Super chill place to relax and exercise and maybe even do some photography like me! Update: the park is now open again!!!

Nice waterfront area, with plenty of walking trails, views of the water and of the surrounding hills. Great for running, walking a dog, or biking with the family (trails aren't all paved, but are all relatively flat).

Well maintained, nice access points. We didn't check any of the trails but plenty of access to them. Looks like an interesting place to fish from the piers. Great coffee place in Martinez to stop at - States Coffee

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 7 mentions

“Love the view, you feel so peaceful and with the bird’s sound feels you feel like that’s your spot to relax your self ❤️”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
