Confirmed from Rainbow City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Nice, well kept park/playground area with lots of picnic tables in a covered area and restrooms.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“There are lots of picnic tables and plenty of space to enjoy a quiet slice of life.”

This park is one of our favorites, and is especially great in the fall. It has a nice walking trail, swings, and two relatively simple playground sets, as well as a covered pavilion. Really wish that it was easier to walk to!

★★★★☆ — Sarah , Jun 2025

Great little park especially the interactive stations that challenge a child to think, learn and play. There are lots of picnic tables and plenty of space to enjoy a quiet slice of life. There are places for the kids to play, run and have fun.

★★★★★ — Jeff , Dec 2024

Quiet local favourite. You could call this one of the locals secrets. Great park with a walking track that has distance markers. Has pavilions, so good for groups. Playground equipment, restrooms, and grills if I'm but mistaken.

★★★★★ — Doug , Jan 2025

Very nice bicycle/walking path, pavilions, and a few separate play areas so that groups can be together or separate easily. I like that there are restrooms and water for dogs!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
