Confirmed from Ranch Trail #62's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular hiking and mountain biking locale offering a climb with obstacles.
What runners say about Ranch Trail #62
“Beautiful place, a must for hiking/sight- seeing/historical loving place.”
“The trail is clearly marked and very rocky at certain points.”
Plenty of spots at the trailhead. Bathroom near by. Good gradual climb to get you some elevation. Like a sign says, be on the look out for blind corners because serious injuries have occurred. The speed you can get coming down would make it difficult to stop, especially in the loose dirt right now.
Loved, loved, loved this trail. Moderate climb and super fun, not too technical downhill with few stumps and rocks. Super smooth and flowy!!!
I read a description that the trail was paved but unkempt. The trail is clearly marked and very rocky at certain points. It is a steady in line for the most part with some steep points. I wanted to ride my bike up the trail, which proved to be very difficult on a hybrid bicycle.
This is a great trail that I've hiked many, many times. After the first few times, the first mile and a half always seems boring, but then as you really start to climb and get into the trees, its prettier and more interesting.

“Doesn't necessarily take you to a magical place or have the most epic view but it is a great trail to hike.”
“Parking lot is large enough for a group and is not a fee area.”
“It's not technical mostly fast and flowy and you climb as much as you descend but that's what's it's all about.”
“There are a few picnic tables and a restroom in area as well.”
“I like to mountain bike on this trail I can do an out and back or make a loop out of it.”
