This is an excellent out-of-the-way hike in the Rockefeller Preserve. Use the preserve trail map to figure out how to hike to the Ravens Rock trail head and be prepared for a couple of miles of walking from where your car is parked to get to the starting point.
Cool rock formation on the end of a walking trail. Featured in Washington Irving's Legend of Sleepy Hollow. According to myth, it is haunted by several spirits.
The most remote part of the Rockefeller Preserve, Raven's Rock is an awesome geological find and a place of Hudson Valley legend. Well worth the lengthy hike
