May 2025: The peonies at Rockefeller preserve are perfectly picturesque! Just a very short walk from the parking lot near the main Visitor Center, you can become immersed in a forest of peonies that are both visually stunning and also smell wonderfully delicious!
Loved this place so much to do over there. You can be a professional hiker, or you can walk to enjoy the sound of nature and the site seen. It is a dog friendly park. I saw many dogs during my walk.
Beautiful park with wide trails and scenic views We visited Rockefeller State Park Preserve on October 26, 2025 for a fall hike and foliage watching. We originally planned to do the easy Brook, David, and Swan Lake Loop (3.
The hike was easy, long flat paths. I also saw a few animals along the way. It’s very pretty here and the flowers smell amazing. Different parts of the park smell different and it was fun sniffing them, but I did get bored. Besides that there’s not much else to do.
