Confirmed from Ray's Mill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great little park with a beautiful view and benches all around. There's a covered area with a BBQ grill perfect for events and a paved path that you can walk in circles to get your steps in. The grass by the water is perfect for a blanket & picnic in the park date. Dog friendly as well with poop bags available.

Nice park! Very small but well maintained. Has 1/5 paved loop by a small lake/large pond. Picnic area with tables and grill. I see people fishing all the time.

We stopped here for a quick walk. We enjoyed the short trail along the water. It's a small little park, but it is very nice and well managed. There are some signs about no tobacco products which we really appreciated. The covered shelter is great, but it would be nice to have a restroom on site as well.

A small walking park with a fishing pier. Good place for pokemon go players with two pokestops, and two Gyms. The park has a walking path that is approximately 1/4 mile.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
