Confirmed from Elizabeth Rounds Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Elizabeth Rounds Park
Nice little neighborhood park with trails leading to Reservoir Park and other greenways. Only downside is people with dogs off the leash.
We were in the area for a few days and this playground was in the area we were staying and wow, I’m so glad it was! Clean restroom, soft turf, white sand in the sandbox!! The story book walk was so fun! Amazing play area!
Nice little park with a playground and small playing field. It's a good place to park and walk on the Whitehall trail with or without your dog. It's a leashless trail so dogs really enjoy it.
Perfect park. Endless space to ride, run, god walking or siting on the grass with your favorite book
Trail conditions & character
“Only downside is people seem to use it as a dog park and don't pick up after their pets all the time, so the field isn't always a safe zone .”
Plan your run at Elizabeth Rounds Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
