Confirmed from Reaney Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Reaney Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (355 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“There are great walking trails that connect this park to the nearby library via a very scenic route along the river.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“I really like this place lots of shade and sun great for kids and they have new play ground”

36th annual lentil festival was held in Reaney Park and was a delightful experience. Each year since 1989, the community celebrates the year when 98% of all lentils grown came from this region.

Super fun!! Beware of the metal slide though. You go down super fast and land pretty hard on your but. Not for small children or adults who have butt or back problems. They need to put a sign up!! Other than that, love the playground equipment and the grass area to run or play games. Will definitely visit again!

Was in town just to visit friends and decided to bring my kids out for some energy. Kinda rustic, but a very nice area to bring the family. My kids had a great time here. Seems to be a very popular place to come out for a walk or take your pet out.

Love the shade and abundance of playground equipment. It gets bombarded by nearby college students on occasion. There are great walking trails that connect this park to the nearby library via a very scenic route along the river.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
