Confirmed from Redden State Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
State forest featuring a historical lodge that was once a hunting retreat for railroad executives.

Beautiful and peaceful place to camp. Sites were clean and there was plenty of space to set up a tent and also park vehicles. Fire pit with wooden benches, grill for cooking and a picnic table. Wood available for purchase was a few steps away. No showers. No bathroom. No electricity. More like camping.
Great deep woods primitive camping experience. Lots of trails. No water or electric at site. Water is available a short walk up to the office; the porta potty is there as well.
Very nice, fairly peaceful hiking area. Trails not blazed and I found the signs a tad confusing , as I've never been here prior. Blazes would be helpful. Trails are nice and clean. Pavilions are marked, first come.
Free to enter, gorgeous views and a hidden gem! Went with my brother and hiked probably 10 miles. Hawks, foxes, deer this place is a wonderful trip for your family.
