Confirmed from Georgetown-Lewes Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful trail very clean and enjoyable never felt crowded can’t wait to go back!”

This Minos Conaway Rd trailhead onto the Lewes-Georgetown paved multi-use trail allows travel under Coastal Highway going East all the way to Cape May - Lewes Ferry Terminal, Cape Henlopen State Park and Lewes Beach all safely without travel on road with vehicles.

We purchased a house in the area about 6 years ago and now are very happy that the Georgetown - Lewes Trail was added to the area. Wonderful trail to walk our dogs, walk to the "Old World Bakery" for some great bread and deserts and rife our bikes. Trail is new and well maintained. We love the Georgetown-Lewes Trail.

★★★★★ — Richard , May 2022

Nice clear path with plenty of maps and benches to stop at. If you plan it out well you can do a bar crawl also!

★★★★★ — Deanna , Oct 2022

Great place to ride bikes, jog or walk. Trail crosses several active roads so whatever your activity you should be aware of surroundings. Good parking at several locations, like Lewes Public Library which has standalone restrooms. Connects with Breakwater Trail which goes to Rehoboth Beach.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 2 mentions

“Paved and everyone is considerate and cyclists announce when they’re passing on the left.”
