Confirmed from Resaca de la Palma National Battlefield's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏃 great for running 3 mentions

“An open area great for walks, running or taking your dog or children, it also have a cozy kiosk to spend some nice time.”

This is an open space environment battlefield that history has it's wonders of what just happened here. Lol On location passing by in the car you might just pass it if your not looking at a blink notice. It's not hidden traffic intends to be cautious on the road. (watching the road).

It is hard to believe that such a lovely place was once a battleground. I highly recommend anyone who appreciates our country to pay respects to this place. Walk the 30 minute path and read how soldiers from Mexico and the US fought for what they believed was right.

Nice historic site. Nice, concrete path perfect for a nice walk. It is a loop. Good signage to explain the site significance. Beautiful wildflowers (March). No visitor Center, that is over at the Palo Alto Battlefield a.few miles away.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
