Confirmed from Southern Pacific Linear Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park, home to a biweekly farmers market, with a zoo nearby.
What runners say about Southern Pacific Linear Park
“Beautiful park with lots of events and activities happening all over the year.”
this is one of the nicest place to visit and walk around. on summer very good acticities each weekend, very good work of.the mayor and hia team... y really recomend this place for a family walk, bwtter if you have kids...
Good place to walk around, maybe ride your bike. The art museum is right next to it. The best thing is that the farmer's market sets stands on Saturday at 9 am and ends at 12.
I absolutely love visiting Linear Park on Saturday mornings for the Brownsville Farmers Market! The market runs from 9 AM to 12 PM and offers a fantastic selection of fresh produce and local crafts. Plus, the park hosts free yoga classes from 8 AM to 9 AM before the market starts.
It's perfect to start your bike trail. Park your car here and you're off. Several community events are held here as well and although sometimes small, I feel as time goes on, they get bigger and better.
Trail conditions & character
“Parking can be a bit challenging during popular events, but there is a big parking lot next to the courthouse that is open to the public during the weekend.”
