Confirmed from Reservoir Hill's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park known for its scenic views of Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca, and offers picnic tables.
What runners say about Reservoir Hill
“Great view, not well maintained sitting area Need information plaques as well as maybe more sitting area or benches.”
I'm 66 years old and I made it today! I'm visiting my daughter and family on post at Ft. Huachuca for the second time. Last year I wanted to go here but never did. This year we all went together. It was a great family day sunny and 68°. Perfect for a mid Winter family hike! ** Please LIKE my review, if it helps you!
A nice picnic area located in fort Huachuca Army Post, at the entrance to Huachuca Canyon. Beautiful views of the Mustang Whetstone Dragoon Mule and Huachuca mountains. As well as vistas of the entire Army Post and all of Metropolitan Sierra Vista. You can see for Miles and Miles just like Roger daltrey sang.
I mean... This is literally just a parking lot but sure the views are cool. Great trail that starts here. A bit on the steep end of difficulty but even better views await you. There's a little sitting area for picnics or whatever. Definitely a hit spot for reenlistment ceremonies and promotions.
Depending on which trail you take, it's a great hiking spot. Take the right for seasoned hikers, it's straight up to 6200 ft or take the left trail for a more relaxed hike.
