Amazing wooded area with walking/biking paths. Dogs love it! Go deep enough into the woods and any thoughts of the city melt away. Bask in the smells, sights and sounds of nature without leaving the city! You'll see deer and many other animals, and a little door built into a tree. Who lives there? I don't know.
This is an excellent park with many different ecosystems. You have wetlands, oaks, pines, and much much more. The terrain is wonderful and changing with a few nice hills for exercise. There are some paved trails but the majority of the park is composed of soft trails. Even on a hot day, the woods are terrific and cool.
Surprisingly nice park with lots of trails and notable things to see. It’s much larger than you would expect as you drive by. The main trail is paved and mostly level, but there are plenty of additional off road trails for mountain biking or exploring. There is also a surprising amount of wildlife, especially deer.
I hesitate to leave a review because I don’t want too many people to find this gem 👀 What first looks like just a weird water tower is actually just the beginning. Back behind the water building there are dirt trails that wind through meadows and woods.
