Confirmed from Richfield Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Richfield Nature Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (79 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Our daughter had her seniors pictures done here, very beautiful with lots of variety.”

I like to walk around there in the fall with the color trees and the old log homes. The mill is awesome also if you have time you need to take a tour through the mill. They also have a thresheree every year which is really interesting to watch with the old machines.

It is such a beautiful nature park. The 2 observation decks are nice one of them u can see Holy Hill in the distance.

★★★★★ — Kristina , Jul 2021

This is a great natural area with many positive attributes. When you initially enter the park you really can't see much of it from the road, but once you get in to the parking area you have a wide open grassy area with a shelter if you would like to host a gathering of some sort.

Love the farmers market. Can't wait to see what it grows into!!! Trails for cars could be marked better on how to exit via Pleasant Hill....I was guessing from a prior drive through and found someone who was completely lost and followed me out. Looking forward to Art on the Farm event.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
