Confirmed from Loew Lake Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Such a beautiful location for photos but also the perfect place to hike!”
Amazing area, great hiking trails. Has about 5 miles of trail. Beautiful views!!
Nice little trail , fairly easy just be ready there's little to no shade most of the trail and it's a bit buggy nothing too crazy and it's to be expected so be prepared, all in all great little spot for an afternoon hike.
It's so hard not to love this place! Such a beautiful location for photos but also the perfect place to hike! The tall pines make for the perfect entrance and the bridge plus the river leading to Loew Lake truly make it majestic.
Beautiful forest and prairie with nice hiking and horse trails. The Ice Age Trail runs through this area. There's usually plenty of parking, even on busy days.
Trail conditions & character
“Ice Age trail cuts through here which is also a great section with water views.”
