Confirmed from Glacier Hills County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with diverse hiking trails, picnic areas, a playground, swimming, and a chapel, plus cabins for rent.
What runners say about Glacier Hills County Park
“We loved that we were able to rent out it out for the whole weekend--allows you to wait until the day after to clean-up if desired.”
“Stunning views of autumn colors, some open space & off-leash areas for dogs just half hour from Milwaukee!”
“Some people had their dogs off leash while walking.”
Super cute park, half along the lake. 8 or 9 cabins for rent, some sleep couples, some sleep entire families. A few trail systems. Has playground for Littles. Kayak access to lake and giant sledding hill in winter. Kind of an underrated park, IMO.
Nice campsite. The cabin was well insulated. Beds were comfortable. I liked that the site provided a space heater and a box fan. There were tension rods in the windows with curtains 5/2025. Bathrooms/ showers were decent. Trails were great!
Perfect wedding venue! So thankful we booked Glacier Hills County Park for our wedding. We chose the weekend rental package so our family and friends could stay in the cabins on site. The hall and chapel were absolutely fantastic and the staff (Krystal) was so helpful.
The trails were wide. I did the black trail loop. It was very buggy because of the lake which I expected. Saw deer and bunnies and lots of flowers. Beautiful trails.

“The trail is well marked in many places, but I recommend snapping a photo of the map as there were a few areas where I was unsure.”
“For hiking, you’ll see most of the trails on the big black loop.”
“- The water fountain near the men’s bathroom wasn’t hooked up to anything/ didn’t work.”
