Confirmed from Rimcrest Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking spot featuring steep terrain, plus areas for mountain biking and dog-free paths.
What runners say about Rimcrest Trail Head
“Trails zig zag all over this area and this is one of my favorite spots to get a great view of Yorba Linda and most of Orange County when you get to the tops of the hills.”
This trailhead is a nice free way to access the Chino Hills Park and during wildflower season is an amazing hike! You can use this trailhead to access all of the park, including San Juan Hill and Gilman Peak.
Easy to moderate hike. Very beautiful during wild flower season, especially the sunset is amazing!
The blooms was a nice surprise. At trail entrance, follow the arrow that points towards San Juan Hill, walk for almost 1 mile and on your left (near tip first hill crest) is a foot trail thru most of the yellow blooms.
Hiking area with lots of hills! Fun and cool. The grass hasn't been this green in a while. Massive view point over the city, stretching over Yorba Linda High School and to the ocean.
