Confirmed from Rip Rap Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 11 mentions

“I love this park, great paths and trails, great entry points with parking, along a scenic river, and always well manicured and taken care of!”

The bike path was nice to walk on. Wish they would put a dog park in. Also very clean.

Rip Rap Road Park is on believe it or not Rip Rap Road in Huber Heights, Ohio. It's a part of the Dayton Metro park system. It's has a huge open area. I use to let my little friend Coco walk me here. It's has a really scenic bikeway, or walking, and running path that goes by the river.

★★★★★ — John , Dec 2023

My dog oreo loves this park. It is big, river walk path is accessible here that you can walk on in either direction for miles. And if you have to go potty there is bathroom or port o potty in parking lot and my beautiful wife and I are pretty energetic & athletic people & we love to do some of our outdoor cardio out…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
