A large and well maintained park. Also very scenic along The Great Miami River. The trails were in good condition and I enjoyed the trails around the dam very much.
Great little primitive campsite for hikers and bikepackers. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone passing through or wanting to do a local shakedown on new gear. The only negatives are you will hear the highway and the occasional train. But, I've found that is typically the case with Ohio camping the bikeways.
It's beautiful. You see unique flora to the area. The river is beautiful. It's rarely crowded. The east park is my favorite for hiking. Update as of 2022. Still great. Beware of an abundance of poison ivy along the trails though.
