Confirmed from Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Area featuring a loop trail for views of alligators, herons, egrets and other wildlife.

The Ritch Grissom Memorial Wetlands are a great place for biking and hiking and very easy to reach from the Viera/Melbourne area. The trails (roads) are generally well maintained and dry. You can walk, run or bike various loops to do whatever distance you want.
Dear tourists and new Florida residents! This was a rather cool day when my Son and I drove through the Grissom Wetlands. The alligators were out sunbathing due to the chill in the air. I saw people walking around the Wetlands with no caution to the alligators layout on the ponds banks.
Beautiful park teeming with all kinds of different birds and plenty of gators. Easy access and lots of parking with ample trails to get your excersize!
It is a nice walk and ypu see many different animals in the wetlands but there is no place to sit and enjoy the scenery.
