Confirmed from Riverfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed option with plentiful fishing areas, boat docks, playgrounds & shaded picnic spots.
What runners say about Riverfront Park
“This park offers a path that is easy to walk, very beautiful views of forest and river and access to clean bathrooms with actual plumbing!”
“Very peaceful and beautiful place to walk.”
Nice well-maintained 1/2 mile out and back paved path along the river.
We decided to stop here after lunch just to let the kids run around. We loved it! Of course every park in Tennessee is beautiful. There is a playground for the kids to enjoy. The river has a couple docks right there making boating easy. Perfect spot for fishing as well. Lots of ducks.
Very peaceful and beautiful place to walk. My kids love it, it has little places you can look over the river, plenty of rest stops. It's a fresh breathe of air, a serene walk every time. And it has a beautiful dam and a play place for the kids.
Nice little park. My dog really enjoys coming here. The greenway is really nice. Would like to see extended down the outher side of the parking lot. Would also like to see more parking at the top of the hill.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
