Confirmed from Fall Creek Falls State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Vast recreation area with a lodge, camping & a restaurant, plus an 18-hole championship golf course.
What runners say about Fall Creek Falls State Park
“Stayed at Campground C, bathrooms were clean and updated 8 separate private showers.”
“The trail to the base of the falls is beautiful but also a beast for anyone who has health conditions or anyone who struggles with getting up and down the stairs.”
“Whether you’re looking for a relaxing drive, a good hike, or just somewhere peaceful to take in the scenery, Fall Creek Falls is well worth the trip.”
Beautiful camp ground. Very quiet and peaceful. It’s a large park so it’s not crowded and not noisy. We rented a cabin and it was very nice with a deck in the background overlooking the lake. Loved the huge rock fireplace between the living room and kitchen. They all have outside grills and fire pits .
Absolutely beautiful! Went today on my honeymoon and I personally loved it! The trail going down to the falls isn't to bad, definitely advise you have the proper footwear and watch your footing. Climbing back out the trail is steep and a little tough.
Absolutely stunning! We came during fall and the colours of the leaves is something I have never seen in Australia. Some great walking tracks for those who like easy access. If you can make It over the rocks, definitely head to the base of the fall.
Literally the most stunning waterfall I have ever seen in my whole life. All age groups can enjoy this park!!! The 0.4 mile hike to the bottom is pretty steep, and I would not recommend the elderly to hike to the bottom as it was pretty rough on my young bones making it back up.

“It's not a long hike but it is rocky and a pretty steep decline and incline back up.”
“Then one of the bathrooms still had pubic hair in it, this was all over the tub not just the drain.”
“Some waterfall overlooks are ADA Accessible.”
“Lake has a paved walking /bike path around the whole perimeter.”
“However, the top of the falls is absolutely stunning and is a straight and easy 200 feet walk from the parking lot.”
